It's All Around You
It's All Around You from the CD Breaking The Glass (original release 2002 with It’s All Around You is found on the 2009 edition as a bonus track).
In order to properly articulate Kenny’s songwriting prevalence It’s All Around You was not including on the original CD release. This is not a throwaway track by any means, rather the contrary; it could find a home on any of his works and blend seamlessly with the other recordings. Kenny pulls out all the stops with his noted mix of folk, country, rock, and reggae, with a main ingredient of Selcer. Every tune Kenny records has a life of its own. He doesn’t rely on the same utensils time and time again. With a Tom Petty vocal feel and a hybrid of several art forms his words flow naturally to the woman in question. The band is simpatico balancing chords, fills, and enabling Kenny’s words to always be natural and not forced. It’s infrequent that listeners of numerous musical styles can peacefully coexist and enjoy the same song (even if they hear it conflictingly). All the best, Craig Fenton.
